Owner Rick Hatch began his career in the oil heat industry in 1979 with a local oil company. Here he met his future wife and business partner, Wanda, who started working in the office in 1983. In 2004, the two decided to go into business for themselves and established their own HVAC and Energy Solution company, R&W Heating Energy Solutions. Now, with Rick’s 30 plus years of experience in the field, and Wanda’s 20 plus years of expertise in the office, the pair has steadily built a successful, small business.
Together Rick & Wanda keep up to date with continuous research into the latest and most innovative products and services, and with the addition of their children, their nephew, and employees who have become part of the family, R&W Heating grows each year.

At the 2022 Eastern Energy Expo, our very own Rick Hatch was awarded the National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers and OESP – The National Assoc. of Oil & Energy Service Professionals Ralph Adams Memorial Service Manager of the Year Award!
Always placing an emphasis on education, both staff and customers, and supporting the oil heat and HVAC industry, it is a well-deserved honor to see him receive this award.
